Globes
St. Croix Globes, Maps and Prints is a distributor of the Replogle brand of globes, the world’s largest producer of fine geographical globes. We currently offer over 120 models, ranging from handcrafted masterpieces of durable classroom tools. These globes are teachers, decorative accessories and travel guides. They are the most accurate physical representation of our planet. Replogle has manufactured globes since 1930.

Maps
Included in the map section are a fine series of the rare, elephant folio Pinkerton maps from 1816 and the extremely detailed German maps from the Meyer’s hand atlas from the 1840’s and 1850’s.
The Pinkertons are engraved maps with relief shown by hachures. Taken from Pinkerton’s Modern Atlas. Drawn under the direction of Mr. Pinkerton by L. Hebert. Neele engraver. Dobson, Publisher. The Meyer maps are Beautifully hand-colored and exceptionally detailed mid-19th century maps. Many are steel etchings by Ltn. Renner from "Neuster Zeitungs Atlas. Alter und Neuer Erdkunde" by J. Meyer, ca 1855. Most measure 7” x 10”.
